Beth Dubuisson was born in Rochester, New York in 1958. She completed the music preparatory program at the Eastman School of Music, and received a bachelor’s degree in music education from Indiana University with high distinction. She taught music briefly in the Gloucester public school system, and was organist for the Christian Science Church in Gloucester. Beth taught privately at the Mary Johnson Piano Studio in Newburyport, and later became music director and organist at the People’s United Methodist Church in Newburyport. She began her own piano studio in Wayland in 1986. She served as a board member for the New England Piano Teacher’s Association, and was an active member of the Massachusetts Music Teacher’s Association as State Contest chair and then treasurer. Since 1989 she has been a judge for the National Guild of Piano Teachers. She joined the South Shore Music Teacher’s Association in 2006. Beth currently teaches piano in her home in Kingston. She became music director of First Parish Church of Scituate in 2006. She became rehearsal accompanist for the Fine Arts Chorale in the fall of 2013.
