We Welcome New MembersAuditions: No auditions are required for membership. The music director may, however, audition members for part placement.
Attendance: Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at Old South Union Church, Columbian St., South Weymouth . Singers should arrive by 7:15 to insure a prompt start for everyone. If you are unable to attend a rehearsal, please notify the Membership Chairman prior to rehearsal. Any member may be dismissed for more than 3 absences or at the discretion of the Music Director.
Dues: Memberships dues are $30.00 for the year. Members are required to buy their own music.
Ticket Requirement: Each member is required to prepay $60.00 for tickets before the fall and spring concerts. ( Sale of the tickets will reimburse the member for the full amount.) Financial issues should not be a barrier to singing with the Chorale. If you have difficulty meeting the financial requirements, please see the Membership Chairperson or the President .
Music: All music is available from the Chorale and must be paid for by the 3rd week of rehearsals. Music must be in a black folder for all performances. Black folders may be purchased through the Chorale.
Concert Dress: Women: Long black skirt or pants, long-sleeved black blouse, black shoes. Men: Black tuxedo or dark suit, white shirt, black bow tie, black shoes.
